Ha Long Bay is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and popular travel destination in Quảng Ninh province, Vietnam. The bay features thousands of limestone karsts and islets in various shapes and sizes, with an area of around 1,553 km2 and 1,969 islets. Visitors can cruise the bay, explore a floating village, paddle out in a kayak, clamber into a cave, or try their hand at rock climbing. The bay has a tropical evergreen biosystem and a seashore biosystem, and is home to 14 endemic floral species and 60 endemic faunal species. The best time to visit Ha Long Bay is from April to June or from late November to Tet Holiday, when the weather is warm and mostly sunny.
