Khiva City Walls

Khiva's city walls are one of its most distinctive features, enclosing the Ichan Kala on four sides and providing vital protection from marauding tribes. The walls have been restored to their former glory, with some sections remaining untouched, and can be accessed from the Bakcha Darvasa or a steep incline to the left of the gate
