Gibbon Falls is a waterfall on the Gibbon River in northwestern Yellowstone National Park in the United States. The falls have a drop of approximately 84 feet and are located roadside, 4.7 miles upstream from the confluence of the Gibbon and Firehole Rivers at Madison Junction on the Grand Loop Road. The falls are a natural barrier to upstream migration of fish, but the upper Gibbon has become a consistent trout fishery due to introductions of Rainbow trout and Arctic Grayling. The area is wheelchair accessible, with designated accessible parking, paths, and views. Visitors are reminded to observe safety precautions, including staying behind fencing and guard rails, and keeping a safe distance from wildlife and hydrothermal features
