Lake Seattle, Washington, United States

What to expect

Lake Union is a freshwater lake located entirely within the city limits of Seattle, Washington. It is a major part of the Lake Washington Ship Canal, which carries fresh water from the much larger Lake Washington on the east to Puget Sound on the west. The lake is surrounded by urban neighborhoods and offers various activities such as renting sailboats or human-powered watercraft, visiting the Museum of History & Industry, and exploring the Center for Wooden Boats. Families can also enjoy the Seattle Spheres, which contain 'living walls' with an incredible array of flora from more than 30 countries.
