Elliott Bay Shoreline

Shoreline Seattle, Washington, United States

What to expect

Elliott Bay is a part of the Central Basin region of Puget Sound, extending southeastward between West Point in the north and Alki Point in the south. The bay is home to the Port of Seattle, which is one of the busiest ports in the United States. The area around the bay has been extensively modified by human development, including the creation of Harbor Island, which was once the world's largest artificial island. Visitors can enjoy scenic views of the bay and the surrounding cityscape, as well as access to various parks and green spaces, such as Centennial Park and Myrtle Edwards Park. These parks offer a range of amenities, including picnic tables, benches, and restrooms, as well as opportunities for outdoor activities like walking and biking. The Elliott Bay Connections project aims to connect and revitalize public parks along the waterfront, creating a unified experience for park users and enhancing public access to the beach and shoreline habitat
