What to expect

Madison Falls is a stunning 60-foot waterfall near the Elwha River, making it a great stop for families and visitors of all abilities. The trail to the falls is a short, 0.1-mile, paved, and gently sloping path that is accessible for all. The falls are surrounded by beautiful scenery and offer a perfect spot to rest and take in the views. Benches are available at the end of the trail, and the area is pet-friendly. The Elwha River, which is the Olympic Peninsula's largest watershed, is also nearby and offers a great spot to see salmon and trout. The river's restoration project has been successful, and visitors can see the results of the dam removal and the return of salmon to the area
