Heart Lake Trail System

The Anacortes Community Forest Lands - Heart Lake is a lovely little lake located in the Anacortes Community Forest Lands, just across the road from Mount Erie and Sugarloaf. The lake has a nearly three-mile loop trail that takes you through a cedar forest, offering peaceful and quiet surroundings, with abundant wildlife and impressive large cedars and hemlocks. The trail is a multi-use trail, so be aware of equestrians and mountain bikers. The loop hike has an elevation gain of 130 feet and a highest point of 620 feet.
