Kids Cove at Mount Trashmore

Mount Trashmore Park is a 165-acre park featuring a unique mountain made of compacted layers of solid waste and clean soil. The park includes a playground area called Kids Cove, which is undergoing a $1.6 million renovation to include new play equipment, such as hillside slides, climbers, and nets with safety surfacing. The new play area will be compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), making it accessible to all children. The park also features two lakes, Lake Windsor and Lake Trashmore, where fishing is permitted from land only. Additionally, the park has a water-wise garden and offers kayaking on Lake Windsor.
