The Rose River Trail is a 3.9-mile loop trail that offers a moderately challenging hike with beautiful waterfalls, scenic views, and well-marked paths. The trail is suitable for families and dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash. The hike takes an average of 2 hours and 3 minutes to complete and has an elevation gain of 892 feet. The trail is part of the Shenandoah National Park and is known for its stunning 67-foot waterfall. The hike can be completed in a clockwise direction, starting from the Fishers Gap Overlook parking lot, and offers a beautiful hike along the Rose River and an off-the-path cave cemetery
