Bearfence Viewpoint is a popular hiking destination in Shenandoah National Park, Virginia. The area offers two hiking options: a 1.1-mile round trip hike to a 180-degree view of the Shenandoah Valley without a rock scramble, and a 1.4-mile round trip hike with a rock scramble that leads to a magnificent 360-degree view of the Virginia Piedmont and Shenandoah Valley. However, the rock scramble is not suitable for those with a fear of heights or for families with small children. Pets are not allowed on these hikes, but service animals are welcome. The trails offer stunning views, and the rock scramble provides an exhilarating experience for those who dare to take it on
