Blackrock Summit is a viewpoint with incredible views of the Shenandoah Valley, Massanutten Mountain, and beyond. The summit can be reached via a 1-mile circuit hike from the Blackrock parking area, which is also a designated TRACK Trail with a self-guided brochure and informational sign for kids. The hike is considered easy and takes about 45 minutes to complete, with an elevation gain of 175 feet. The trail does not meet ADA accessibility guidelines, and pets must be on a leash no longer than 6 feet at all times. Families can enjoy the scenic views and explore the rocky talus slope, and kids can participate in the TRACK Trail program
