Smugglers' Notch State Park is a Vermont state park near Stowe in Lamoille County, Vermont. The park is situated in the Green Mountains and is named for Smugglers Notch, a narrow pass through the mountains. The park offers 20 tent sites and 14 lean-to sites, as well as access to hiking trails, including the Long Trail and the Sterling Pond Trail. Visitors can also enjoy picnicking, mountain biking, and nature programs. The park has a rich history, having been used for smuggling and as a route for fugitive slaves. The park's facilities include a campground, restrooms, and a visitor center. Pets are permitted, and there are also opportunities for bouldering, ice climbing, and cave exploring
