What to expect
Bingham Falls is a popular waterfall hike in Vermont, known for its easy access, impressive geology, and photographic nature. The hike is approximately 0.5 miles long and takes around 30-60 minutes to complete. The trail starts with an easy descent along a wide path, then becomes steeper and rockier as it approaches the falls. The falls offer spectacular views of the 40-foot waterfall and a cool, refreshing mist. The area is suitable for families, but parents should be cautious as certain sections of the trail traverse close to the edge of the gorge and can be slippery. Proper hiking shoes with good tread are highly recommended

Activities: We hiked to Bingham Falls, starting from a trailhead on Route 108, just past the entrance to Smugglers Notch State Park. We followed the stream to a first set of falls and then turned right to a second set of falls, where we could clamber down to pools below and downstream from the falls. We also enjoyed wading in the stream
