What to expect
Zion National Park Visitor Center is a great place to start your visit to Zion National Park. The visitor center is located at the lower end of Zion Canyon and offers orientation and trip planning information, as well as wilderness permits. The center is designed to be environmentally friendly, with features such as solar panels, natural daylighting, and a cooling system that uses minimal energy. The center also has outdoor exhibits, a picnic area, and a bookstore selling park-related merchandise. Families can access trails such as the Watchman Trail, Pa'rus Trail, and Archaeology Trail from the visitor center. The center is also a shuttle stop, making it easy to get around the park
