Canyon View Trail

Canyon Overlook Trail is a moderate, 1-mile trail with excellent views of the main Zion Canyon and the Towers of the Virgin. The trail begins with a series of sandstone steps and a metal handrail, leading visitors over rocky terrain above a dark slot canyon. The end of the trail is marked by a fenced cliff edge with stunning views. The trail is suitable for most able-bodied individuals, including mature and well-behaved children, and takes around 1-2 hours to complete. Along the way, keep an eye out for bighorn sheep and other wildlife. The trail is accessible year-round, but be prepared for varying weather conditions
