Utah's Hogle Zoo is a 42-acre zoo located in Salt Lake City, Utah. The zoo is home to over 800 animals representing 249 species and is one of the largest zoos in the Intermountain West. It is accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) and the World Association of Zoos and Aquariums (WAZA). The zoo features various exhibits, including the Small Animal Building, which is one of the few exhibits left in North American zoos dedicated to small mammals, reptiles, amphibians, and birds. The zoo also offers paid experiences such as tours and encounters, allowing visitors to get a closer look at the animals and areas not visible to the general public
