What to expect

The Green River Overlook is a viewpoint that offers stunning views of the Green River, 1,300 feet below. It is located in the Island in the Sky district and is one of the best places to watch the sunset. The overlook is wheelchair accessible and has a vault/composting toilet. Visitors can also see features of The Maze district and the White Rim Road from this spot. The area is known for its unique rock formations, including the Land of Standing Rocks, The Maze, and the Orange Cliffs. The Green River, which begins in the Wind River Range of Wyoming, divides the Island in the Sky District from the Maze District
