What to expect

Broken Arch is a stone arch located in Moab, Utah. The arch is not actually broken and can be accessed via a short hike from the Sand Dune Arch Trailhead. The trail is considered easy and is 1.2 miles round trip. The arch is situated in a grassland area and offers good views of the surrounding sandstone upthrusts and desert flora and fauna. The area is also home to a variety of wildlife, and visitors are encouraged to sit still and silently for ten minutes or more to spot animals. The trail is not accessible to wheelchairs, and dogs are not allowed. The nearby Devils Garden Campground offers restrooms, showers, and hiking trails, including the Broken Arch Loop Trail, which passes beneath Broken Arch and continues to the campground
