Bluff Fort Museum

Museum Bluff, Utah, United States

What to expect

The Bluff Fort Historic Site commemorates the original pioneer town founded by Mormon missionaries at the end of their expedition to settle the San Juan area in 1880. The site features recreations of the town, complete with a meetinghouse and cabins, and offers an interactive historical experience. Visitors can tour inside reconstructed log cabins and Native American dwellings, sit on covered wagons, and learn about the lives of the pioneers. The site includes a replica of the original Co-op Store, which serves as a visitor center and gift shop, and a giant waterwheel where visitors can try their hand at gold panning. The Bluff Fort is a great place to visit with family and friends to learn about the history of the area and the pioneers who settled it
