What to expect

Space Center Houston is a science museum that serves as the official visitor center of NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas. The center features over 400 space artifacts, including the Mercury 9, Gemini 5, and Apollo 17 space capsules, as well as the world's only Space Shuttle replica, Independence, mounted on one of the two original shuttle carrier aircraft. Visitors can explore the Starship Gallery, Independence Plaza, and Rocket Park, which includes a Saturn V rocket made up of segments originally intended for flight. The center also offers educational programs and special events, making it a great place to visit with family and friends
