What to expect

The Lone Star Monument and Historical Flag Park is a 3.5-acre park located in Conroe, Texas. The park features a circular landscaped plaza surrounded by 13 flags that flew in Texas during the Texas Revolution. At the center of the plaza is The Texian, a 14-foot-tall bronze sculpture by Conroe artist Craig Campobella, depicting an average volunteer soldier of the Texas Revolution. A bust of Dr. Charles B. Stewart, designer of the Lone Star flag, marks the entrance to the park. The park is adjacent to the Montgomery County Library and is a significant historical site in Texas
