Heritage Museum of Montgomery County

The Heritage Museum of Montgomery County is a history museum located in Conroe, Montgomery County, Texas. The museum showcases the rich historical and cultural heritage of Montgomery County, with exhibits on the origin of the current population, including those drawn by the lumber and oil industries. The museum is housed in the Grogan/Cochran home, built in 1924, and features three permanent galleries: Glimpses of Montgomery County, Towns, People and Events, and a Hands-On Children's Room, making it a family-friendly destination. The museum also hosts various events and exhibits, such as the Hitty Doll Christmas Scenes and the Around the World Nutcracker Collection
