The Texas Energy Museum is a technology museum that tells the story of oil through state-of-the-art exhibits, including talking robotic characters. The museum has two floors of displays, with interactive exhibits focusing on the geology, history, and production of oil. Exhibits include Formation, Exploration, Drilling, Refining, and Spindletop, which showcases the discovery of oil at Spindletop near Beaumont, Texas in 1901. The museum is part of a concentration of several museums in the downtown Beaumont area, making it a great place to visit with family and friends

Activities: We visited the Texas Energy Museum. However, the welcome for families was not great. The children couldn't approach an exhibition without the young woman exclaiming "don't touch anything!!!"
Highlights: The museum was well made, "extrêmement bien fait !" However, the staff's approach to children was not appreciated. For interactive presentations, this was not ideal ✨
