What to expect
Géotour in Beaumont, Texas, offers a unique outdoor adventure for families through geocaching, a global scavenger hunt using GPS-enabled devices. The Beaumont Geocaching Passport has 25 caches located throughout Southeast Texas at various attractions, parks, landmarks, and more. Participants can follow clues, complete puzzles, and return the decoded message to win Beaumont swag. The geocaching trail is designed to take roughly two full days to complete and allows visitors to explore the area at their own pace. The trail includes visits to cool places in the city, such as Cattail Marsh Scenic Wetlands & Boardwalk, Gator Country, and Neches River Adventures. Families can enjoy a leisurely trip on the ecologically diverse Neches River and get up close and personal with nature's wild at Gator Country. The geocaching experience provides an opportunity for families to discover Beaumont in a different way, with a fun and interactive scavenger hunt-like experience

Activities: We did a Géotour with geocaches at the industrial port, the old center, the university, museums, historical sites, the botanical garden, and a nature reserve. The kids loved this concept
Highlights: The kids really enjoyed the Géotour and didn't get tired. "In mixant les « visites à oiseaux » et caches à découvrir, nos Loupinous n’ont exprimé aucune lassitude". They got a treasure at the end! ✨
