Walnut Creek Metropolitan Park is a 293-acre public park featuring 15 miles of hiking trails, multiple softball fields, a swimming pool, a playground, and numerous barbecue pits and picnic tables. The park has a large off-leash area for dogs and is popular with local mountain bikers for its extensive network of trails. It is hilly and wooded, with access to Walnut Creek and the surrounding limestone bluffs. The park also has a swimming pool, baby pool, and sports facilities such as basketball and volleyball courts, and softball fields. The Northern Walnut Creek Trail spans from Mopac south to Walnut Creek Metropolitan Park, with 9 creek crossings and 4 trail heads, making it a great place to visit with family and friends
