Ridgeline Trail

Hiking trail Austin, Texas, United States

What to expect

Ridgeline Trail is a park with a loop trail, located in Austin, Texas. The park is currently undeveloped and lacks a sidewalk along South Lakeline Blvd street frontage. However, anticipated improvements will preserve the natural environment and include a loop trail, public street sidewalk, picnic areas, playgrounds and/or workout zones, and park signage. The trail features fantastic views from every area along the route and travels through a wooded area which is shady for most of the route, making it a great choice for hiking. The trail is well-marked and has good elevation, but it can be rocky in some sections, so proper footwear is advised

Activities: We combined the Cactus Rocks trail and the Ridgeline trail for a hike. The Ridgeline trail is another loop trail. The “top” section of this loop is flat and easy, while the part that is lower on the mountain is more challenging

Highlights: The “top” section of this loop is flat and easy, while the part that is lower on the mountain is more challenging. The trail has great views ✨
