Bull Creek Preserve

Bull Creek Preserve is a natural area with a 7.4-km loop trail, suitable for hiking, running, and walking. The trail is mostly shaded and travels through a forested area, with several creek crossings that can be challenging after heavy rainfall. The preserve is an important habitat for endangered species, including the Golden-cheeked Warbler, and visitors can enjoy opportunities to view wildlife and local flowers. The area has a long history of human utilization, with archaeological investigations showing prehistoric use and early Anglo settlers, including the Preece family, who owned land in the area. The preserve is managed to conserve habitat for endangered species, while allowing for responsible recreational use
