What to expect

The Adamson-Spalding Storybook Garden is a public garden located on the southeast lawn of the Abilene Convention Center in Abilene, Texas. The garden features several storybook sculptures commissioned by the Abilene Cultural Affairs Council, including characters from 'Charlotte's Web,' 'Stuart Little,' and 'Three Bedtime Stories.' New sculptures are added each year during the Children's Art & Literacy Festival. The garden is free to visit, open day and night with special nighttime lighting, and is handicap accessible. It is also pet-friendly, but pets must be kept on a leash and owners must pick up after them. The garden has various spaces and places, including 'Generosity Path,' 'Gratitude Grove,' and 'Charlotte & Wilbur's Stage,' among others. The garden is a great place for families to visit, with its kid-friendly atmosphere and beautiful sculptures
