Abilene Zoo

The Abilene Zoo is a 16-acre zoo located in Abilene, Texas, with over 1100 animals representing more than 250 species. The zoo is a place of learning and adventure, where families can make memories and become inspired to preserve wildlife. It features various exhibits, including the Giraffe Safari, Caribbean Cove, and Journey to Madagascar, as well as a carousel and train. The zoo is accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) and participates in the AZA Reciprocal Admissions Program. The zoo also has a strong focus on conservation and education, with a variety of programs and events throughout the year
