Silver Falls State Park is a scenic treasure that offers boundless recreational opportunities and historic presence. The park features the famous South Falls, a 177-foot curtain of water that visitors can walk behind, as well as the Trail of Ten Falls, a 7.2-mile loop that passes a series of breathtaking waterfalls along a rocky canyon. The park also offers more than 35 miles of backcountry trails for mountain biking, hiking, or horseback riding, and has a day-use area with spacious lawns, picnic shelters, and a playground. The park is family-friendly, with an off-leash area for dogs and a Nature Play Area for kids. The main campground has tent sites, RV spots, and cabins, and visitors can also bring their horses and stay in the horse campground
