Wagner Park, also known as Robert F. Wagner Jr. Park, is a green space in the Battery Park City neighborhood of Manhattan, New York City. The park features a mix of open lawns and intensively planted gardens, threaded through with paths and walkways, making it a great place to explore. The park also has a restaurant and a public roof deck with breathtaking views of the Statue of Liberty and New York Harbor. The park is named in honor of Robert F. Wagner, Jr., a distinguished civil servant who helped negotiate Battery Park City’s 1979 Master Plan
