What to expect

The collection contains illuminated manuscripts, authors' original manuscripts, books, and sheets of music. The Morgan also houses collections of drawings, photographs, paintings, maps, and other objects. The main building is a New York City designated landmark and a National Historic Landmark, and its architecture has received praise over the years. The museum has hosted temporary exhibitions, as well as events such as concerts and lectures, making it a great place to visit with family and friends
