The Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum is a non-profit, educational institution featuring the legendary aircraft carrier Intrepid, the space shuttle Enterprise, 28 authentically restored aircraft, and a guided missile submarine, the Growler. The museum showcases a collection of technologically groundbreaking aircraft and vessels, taking visitors on an interactive journey through history to learn about American innovation and bravery. The museum spans three of the carrier's decks, with exhibits, aircraft, and spacecraft on display, including a Concorde SST, a Lockheed A-12 supersonic reconnaissance plane, and the Space Shuttle Enterprise. The museum also offers exciting events, exhibitions, and interactive experiences, such as flight simulators, a 4D theater, and virtual and augmented reality experiences
