11+ Reasons Why Lake Placid Is A Winter Vacation Wonderland
This family's experience:

Activities: We enjoyed cross-country skiing at Cascade Ski Center, which is close to town and has scenic trails. The trails are well-maintained and there are plenty of paths that suit all levels

Highlights: The kids loved the scenic trails and the comfortable lodge. It's often warmer on Cascade’s trails than it is in town and the trees block the wind. It's a great option when it's too cold to downhill ski ✨
