The museum is also home to the Empire State Carousel, a hand-crafted merry-go-round that celebrates New York State's history, culture, and environment. Visitors can explore the museum's collections, which include more than 23,000 artifacts reflecting 19th-century farm life in central New York. The museum offers working exhibits, such as a print shop, a weaving workshop, and a smithy, where skilled craftspeople demonstrate their trades.
