The Rio Grande Gorge Bridge, also known as the Gorge Bridge or High Bridge, is a steel deck arch bridge across the Rio Grande Gorge in New Mexico. It is the seventh highest bridge in the United States, standing roughly 600 feet above the Rio Grande. The bridge was completed in 1965 and is part of U.S. Route 64. It has been awarded the 'Most Beautiful Steel Bridge' in the 'Long Span' category by the American Institute of Steel Construction. The bridge has also appeared in several films, including Natural Born Killers, Twins, and Terminator Salvation. Visitors can walk along the rim of the gorge and enjoy stunning views of the bridge and the surrounding landscape
