What to expect

Carlsbad Caverns National Park is a United States National Park in the Guadalupe Mountains in southeastern New Mexico. The park features a large cave chamber, the Big Room, a natural limestone chamber which is almost 4,000 feet long, 625 feet wide, and 255 feet high at the highest point. It is the third-largest chamber in North America and the seventh-largest in the world. The park participates in the Junior Ranger Program, which allows kids to learn about the natural wonders of the park and how to preserve them for the future. After completing the age-appropriate requirements, a ranger will review their work and award them with an official junior ranger badge
