Virginia Falls is a waterfall located in Glacier National Park, Montana. The hike to Virginia Falls begins from the St. Mary Falls Shuttle Stop and is approximately 3.6 miles roundtrip with a total elevation gain of 525 feet. The trail takes you through an area that was burned during the Reynolds Creek Fire of 2015 and offers stunning views of surrounding mountains, including Dusty Star Mountain, Almost-a-Dog Mountain, and Little Chief Mountain. Along the way, you'll pass by St. Mary Falls, a spectacular waterfall that drops 35 feet in three separate tiers, and several other smaller waterfalls and cascades. The trail is considered easy, with a difficulty rating of 4.65, making it a great option for families with children. The area is also home to American dippers, also known as water ouzels, which can be seen bobbing or diving in the water
