Lafayette Park is a 30-acre park that is considered one of the oldest urban parks west of the Mississippi River. The park features walking paths, a multi-purpose field, a playground with water fountains and sculptures, and several statues, including ones of George Washington and Thomas Hart Benton. The park also has a beautifully restored Park House, which can be rented for private events, and a serene section called the Rockery, built in 1866. Additionally, the park is home to the Saint Louis Perfectos, a vintage baseball club that plays by the rules and customs of the 1860s. The park is a popular spot for wedding photos and offers a variety of amenities, including a lake and cannons from the Revolutionary War
