The Gateway Arch is a 630-foot-tall monument in St. Louis, Missouri, United States. It is the world's tallest arch and Missouri's tallest accessible structure. The Arch is a National Historic Landmark in Gateway Arch National Park and has become a popular tourist destination, as well as an internationally recognized symbol of St. Louis. Visitors can take a tram ride to the top of the Arch for incredible views, explore the Museum at the Gateway Arch to learn about the history of the westward expansion of the United States, or take a riverboat cruise along the Mississippi River. The Arch also features a Virtual Reality Theater, where visitors can experience a 360° depiction of the St. Louis riverfront in the 1850s. Additionally, the Old Courthouse, where important historical cases were held, is also part of the Gateway Arch complex. With various events and activities throughout the year, the Gateway Arch is a great place to visit with family and friends
