The Columbia Bottom Conservation Area is a 4,256-acre conservation area located on the south side of the Missouri River at its confluence with the Mississippi River. The area encompasses a mosaic of natural areas including wetlands, forests, prairies, and croplands, with over six miles of river frontage. Visitors can explore the area through a self-guided learning experience with eight exploration stations along the way, and observe the confluence of the two rivers from the Confluence Viewing Platform. The area offers hiking, biking, and river access, making it a great place to visit with family and friends.
