What to expect

The Duluth Lakewalk is a nearly eight-mile paved pedestrian and bicycle trail stretching from Bayfront Park to Brighton Beach, much of it along the Lake Superior Shore. The trail features picnic tables, hiking, biking, birding, fruit trees, and public access restrooms. The Lakewalk also has an interpretive plan that aims to define specific elements and common themes for interpretation along the existing trail, inviting visitors to gain a richer understanding of the area and create meaningful spaces for visitors to engage. The plan includes historical, cultural, and artistic representations of people and place
