Petoskey Pierhead Lighthouse

Lighthouse Petoskey, Michigan, United States

What to expect

The Petoskey Pierhead Lighthouse is a historic lighthouse located in Petoskey, Michigan, on the shores of Lake Michigan. It has undergone several transformations since its establishment in 1899, including the construction of a funnel-style lighthouse in 1912 and its destruction in 1924. A new skeletal steel tower was built in 1930, and a replica of the original funnel-style lighthouse was proposed but not constructed due to regulatory issues
