Clock Show at Bavarian Inn

The Clock Show at Bavarian Inn, located in Frankenmuth, Michigan, is a popular attraction that features a 50-foot Glockenspiel Tower. The tower houses a magnificent 35-bell carillon, a beautiful figurine movement, and an illuminated clock, all imported from Germany. The clock sounds the 5-bell Westminster chime before striking the hour and on each quarter hour. At Noon, 3 p.m., 6 p.m., and 9 p.m. each day, the Glockenspiel plays several selections, followed by figurine movement depicting the legend of the Pied Piper of Hameln. The tower is built in traditional Bavarian style architecture and can be seen from roads leading into Frankenmuth from the south. The attraction is suitable for both adults and children, making it a great family-friendly activity. The story of the Pied Piper of Hameln is told through carved wooden figures, 4½ feet high, which move on tracks and act out the legend. The tower also features a large clock face with gold-covered numerals and copper hands.
