What to expect

The Sandwich Glass Museum is a town history museum featuring a wide range of rare glass, including Victorian era glass manufactured by the now defunct local Boston & Sandwich Glass Factory. The museum has a furnace for clear glass and a computerized annealing oven, and offers live demonstrations of glassblowing. Visitors can watch experienced glass blowers create unique hand-crafted art glass, and even try it themselves with a Glass Experience. The museum also has a shop with contemporary studio glass and museum-created items. The museum is wheelchair accessible, with a ramped entrance and accessible public areas
