Bunker Hill

Bunker Hill is a historic site and residential area in Charlestown, Massachusetts, that offers a great panoramic view of the surrounding area. The site commemorates the Battle of Bunker Hill, the first major battle of the Revolutionary War, which took place on June 17, 1775. The battle was a pivotal moment in American history, and the site features a 221-foot granite obelisk monument that was completed in 1842. Visitors can climb the monument and explore the Bunker Hill Museum, which features dioramas, murals, and artifacts from the battle, including a cannonball, a snare drum, and a sword.
