Faneuil Hall is a historic marketplace and meeting hall located in Boston, Massachusetts. It has been a gathering space for successive generations to discuss and debate the meaning and legacy of American liberty. The hall has hosted meetings, protests, celebrations, ceremonies, and debates for over 275 years. Faneuil Hall is also known as 'the Cradle of Liberty' and is part of Boston National Historical Park and a well-known stop on the Freedom Trail. The hall features a Great Hall on the second floor, which is accessible by elevator or stairs, and offers free admission. Ranger programs and tours are available, and the hall is accessible via a ramp and elevator on the south side of the building
