What to expect

The Beachcroft Path Trail is a 2.3-mile out-and-back trail that offers stunning views of the surrounding islands and Frenchman Bay. The trail begins with stairs carved into exposed granite and leads to a boulder field, then circles around Huguenot Head before ascending to the summit of Champlain Mountain. The trail is considered challenging and is open year-round, making it a great option for hiking, running, and birding. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash. The trail features granite stairs, rocky scrambles, and smooth expanses of granite, with views of the Cranberry Isles and other islands. It's a great place for families to explore, with opportunities to spot wildlife, including Peregrine Falcons, and enjoy the beautiful scenery
