Wilson State Park is a beautiful park located in the Smoky Hills of North Central Kansas. The park features a rugged shoreline punctuated by scenic cliffs and rocky outcrops, as well as a variety of recreational activities such as hiking, biking, and boating. The park has several trails, including the 24.5-mile long Switchgrass Bike Trail and the Bur Oak Nature Trail, a 3/4 mile self-guided interpretive trail. Visitors can also enjoy fishing, with species such as white bass, striped bass, and catfish available in the lake. The park is also home to a variety of wildlife, including deer, pheasant, and waterfowl.
