Ferne Clyffe State Park

Ferne Clyffe State Park is a 2,430-acre park featuring limestone bluffs, naturally forested woodlands, cliff caves, and several small seasonal waterfalls. The park offers various recreational facilities, including camping, picnicking, hiking, hunting, and fishing. Ferne Clyffe Lake, an artificial lake, was constructed in the late 1950s and is a notable feature of the park. The park's unique geological features and abundant ferns create an atmosphere that enhances the many recreational activities available. Rock climbing is also available in the park, with two main areas for climbing, including Big Rocky Hollow and the Cedar Bluff areas, offering routes for both experienced and new climbers
